This Tour de Pier is organized to raise funds for the following cancer charities: The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research (pancreatic.org), The Uncle Kory Foundation (unclekory.org) and Virginia Mason (virginiamason.org).
Founded in 1997, the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research, and providing information, resources and support to pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
The Cancer Institute at Virginia Mason leads the way in cancer care and survival rates in the Puget Sound region. Our patients receive care from all their specialists at one time and in one setting. Our targeted and focused approach results in improved quality of life during treatment and better outcomes.
The Uncle Kory Foundation (UKF) is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization inspired by the life of Kory Lewis Hunter. The UKF is dedicated to empower and inspire all people affected by cancer, with a focus on brain cancer, which took Kory's life at an all too early age.
