I am a Pollyanna.  I believe in living in positivity.  I believe in hope.  I believe in the goodness of people.  I believe in the collective power of Us.  And I believe in the power of Yes. YES, WE CAN CURE CANCER!

I have once again registered to participate in the unique fundraising event - Tour de Pier. This amazing day of stationary cycling at the beach supports the crucial work of three great charities: the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Uncle Kory Foundation and the Cancer Support Community South Bay.

The 14th Annual Tour de Pier will be held on May 17th.  It's my favorite day of the year. Not because I'll be riding my butt off on a spin bike. Nor is it the celebration of my own cancer journey.  I rejoice in this day because collectively my community is making a tangible difference in the lives of those struggling to kick cancer.

Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach watching me ride my butt off.  I will be riding for my family and friends who I’ve lost to cancer’s ugly wrath.   But rather than concentrating on cancer’s grip on us, I want to celebrate their memories and honor those who are currently battling this disease. Join me in moving hope forward and shouting out loud that Everything is possible and together we can find a cure - YES, WE CAN - LET'S WIN THIS WAR!
