Training is more fun with friends! Join our group of runners for a run that is sure to kick-start your weekend with an endorphin rush. Our group meets at 8am next to the fountain in Burton Chase Park. There is free parking in Lot 52 on Fiji Way or paid parking on Mindanao Way. Club 26.2 coaches offer weekly pre-run training tips, snacks, water and post-run stretching. The park has bathrooms, gorgeous views of the marina and is a great place for a post-run picnic. But most importantly, this is a great opportunity to meet your fellow HTT members and forge friendships that last a lifetime.

Virtual Training

Don’t live in LA? If you want to be a member of the Hirshberg Training Team, but live outside of the Southern California area, we want you to join us at the LA Marathon. Virtual training schedules are available, which allow you to train locally while still receiving the all the benefits of being on our team. We provide you with access to our coach Robert Mills, who will assist you with expert advice on nutrition, injury prevention, and many more aspects of marathon training. Our staff will assist you with your fundraising efforts and provide you all the information you need to have an incredible marathon experience. Airfare and hotel are not included in team registration and is booked by the individual team member with our guidance.

About our Coaches
Coaches

CLUB26.2 which is led by Directors/Coaches Robert Mills and Euri Mills, provides a comprehensive marathon/half marathon training program designed for all levels of experience from novice walker to the seasoned runner.

As a member of the Hirshberg Training Team you’ll receive information and tips about selecting everything including the right shoes, form & technique, optimal cross training, rest days, how to do the long run, maintenance runs, racing, tapering, proper stretching, proper nutrition, hydration, sports drinks, supplements, along with “what to do” and “what not to do” on marathon day.

Robert has a total of 57 marathons under his belt along with numerous half marathons, 10K’s and 5K’s. Euri has completed 8 marathons along with many half marathons, 10K’s and 5K’s. They have coached more than 3,000 runners/walkers with over 99% crossing the finish line!
