16th Annual Game Day
Our event is raising money in support of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Pancreatic Cancer is the third-ranked cause of cancer related death in the US amongst both men and women.
Cancer has touched us all in some way; research for pancreatic cancer could hold the key to finding a cure for all cancers. Please make a donation and help us reach our fundraising goal.
Thank you for joining us in the fight against pancreatic cancer!
his year, Julie Durmaskin—a beloved mother, sister, wife, and friend—would have celebrated her 66th birthday. It has now been 16 years since she lost her courageous four-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
In many ways, that time feels like a lifetime ago. Over the years, we have celebrated milestones, welcomed new beginnings, mourned losses, and found countless ways to support one another through life's challenges. Yet pancreatic cancer has never slowed down. The absence of those we have lost is felt deeply in every birthday, holiday, and family gathering, serving as a poignant reminder that there is still so much work to be done to find better treatments, earlier detection methods, and ultimately a cure.
This year, we are coming together virtually to celebrate Julie's life, honor her memory, and support a cause that remains incredibly important to our family: funding pancreatic cancer research. By gathering online, friends and family from around the world can participate, share memories, play games, connect with one another, and help raise critical funds in the fight against this devastating disease.
We hope you will join us as we celebrate Julie's beautiful life and legacy while helping advance the search for a cure. Together, we can honor those we have lost and bring hope to those who are still fighting.
Thank you for your continuous love and support. You are all the family that carries the spark that keeps Julie’s memory alive.
With much love and gratitude,
Amy and Debbie
