Battle of the Tailgates
This friendly competition will feature two NFL fan club teams — the Orange Crushers and the Los Angeles Blue Thunder Bombers — coming together for a cause that deeply matters to our community.
This year’s game is dedicated to my father, Leonel “El León” Zepeda, who is currently fighting his battle with pancreatic cancer. Our Los Rayos family has also been personally impacted — one of our members recently lost his older brother, George Thum, to pancreatic cancer, and another member’s mother is currently fighting her own battle.
This cause hits close to home for all of us, and it would be an honor to partner with the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research to make a meaningful impact in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
