My team is riding in honor of Aaron’s mom, Annie, who passed away from pancreatic cancer before I had the chance to meet her. Even though our paths never crossed, I feel like I know her through the stories her family shares — her kindness, strength, love for her family, and the impact she had on everyone around her.
I have seen how deeply she is missed and how her memory continues to live on through the people who love her most. Tour de Pier is a meaningful way for me to honor her life and support Aaron and his family.
Cancer has also deeply impacted my own life, and I know the pain of losing someone you love to this disease. Please consider contributing to my fundraising efforts and supporting the fight against cancer.
If you’d like, you can also join me and Team Annie for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, honoring those we have lost, and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease.
