WHAT A RIDE!!! As most of you know, last year was my first year participating in the Tour de Pier & riding for cancer charities. I’ve spent the past year continuing to strengthen my leg after my accident almost 2 years ago. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my progress than to ride & raise $$ for cancer charities at the Tour de Pier!! I’m riding on my friend Jeff Brunner’s team - honoring Bob Saunders & countless others who have battled or are currently battling cancer. Bob Saunders passed away from cancer in 2021. I have developed a wonderful friendship with Bob’s lovely wife Diane Saunders. What an amazing woman! I’D LOVE YOUR SUPPORT!! On Sunday, May 17th, I'll be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier! The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
