On October 15, 2004 — just two weeks after giving birth to my first child and my mom’s first grandchild — I lost my mom to cancer.
On May 17, 2026, I’ll once again be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier.
Cancer touches every family differently, but none of us should have to face it alone.
The Tour de Pier transforms the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand into an outdoor cycling event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for three incredible cancer charities: the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay, and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
If you’re able, I would be incredibly grateful for your support through a donation of any size. And if you’d like to join me, come spend the day at the beach for an inspiring ride as we remember those we’ve lost, celebrate those still fighting, and help bring hope to families facing cancer today.
Together, we can ride in place and move charity forward.
