Hello!
I can’t believe it’s that time of year again! For everyone who received this last year and contributed, thank you once again.
Yes, I’ll be back on the stage for 2026, Year 4 of my participation in Tour de Pier!
This year I’ll be riding in honor of two of my family members: my two Aunt Janines. Yes, I have two! One on each side of the family. And interesting how they were both given this challenge. One has been cancer free for 5 years! She had to go through some of it during COVID too. And the other just got a miraculous news that she’s in remission after only 3 months of chemotherapy! These ladies bravely faced it head on with a ton of courage and resolve.
As we’re still in the middle of unstable economic times, I’m implementing the Ice Bucket Challenge donation strategy again: The $10 Donation. If you're able to give $10 that'd be fantastic and then if you're willing, pass along to someone else who you think would be interested.
Every little bit helps and events like these not only help to fund research but also build community and strength among patients and survivors and their families.
Event information is below.
Thank you as always for your support!
Blessings,
Chrissi
The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
