I ride for my aunts, my uncles, my cousins, and my grandparents — and for so many others in my family whose lives have been forever touched by this disease.
I’ll be riding to move this charity forward at the Tour de Pier! This incredible event brings hundreds of stationary bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to raise awareness and critical funds for three amazing cancer organizations: the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, Cancer Support Community South Bay, and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
This ride is deeply personal to me. Because of early detection, medical advances, and the tireless work of foundations like these, my mom is now 24 years cancer-free. That is not luck — that is community, research, and support in action.
I ride for her.I ride for those currently fighting. And I ride in honor of the countless lives touched by this disease every single day.
This is where you come in. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to support this mission. Every dollar helps fund life-saving research, support patients and families, and move us closer to a world where cancer no longer steals the people we love.
No gift is too small, and every contribution truly makes a difference. If you’ve ever been touched by cancer — directly or through someone you love — I invite you to stand with me.
And if you’d like to experience the energy of this incredible day, come join us at the beach for a powerful event filled with movement, remembrance, hope, and celebration.
Together, we can make a real difference — so that no one has to face cancer alone.
This is what community looks like. We are truly blessed to live in a place where events like this are possible. Gratitude doesn’t even begin to cover it.
With love and purpose,E
