Frank the Tank goes cycling! I'll be cycling in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier on May 17th at the Manhattan Beach Pier!
The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
They’ve made this event INCLUSIVE to all, we have a team of 12 Adaptive Athletes that participate! A total of 25 people on our team this year. Each team member completes a 50-minute handcycle or cycle. WE ALL RIDE!
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. This is my 5th year participating. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
This year Tour de Pier featured our team in their Why I Ride campaign, it's a MUST watch: https://blog.tourdepier.com/we-all-ride/
No amount is too small—if 10 friends each give $50, that’s $500 raised toward finding a cure!
