Dear Friends and Family,
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. Tour de Pier is just a week away, Sunday, May 17. I know that we have all lost someone who is very dear to us to cancer. Please consider donating any amount in their honor to help others who are suffering from this excruciating disease.
I can hardly believe that this will be my tenth year riding in place to move charity forward. One of the reasons I am so dedicated to Tour de Pier, is because this event is completely paid for by the generous sponsors, which means that 100 percent of your donation goes to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirschberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation. The Pancreatic Cancer research helps people all over the world, so your donation not only helps families locally but globally as well.
Many of you have helped me raise funds for this incredible cause in the past, which has helped so many patients and their families fight cancer. Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost, supporting those who are currently battling this disease, and celebrating those who have won their battle, Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward! I am so grateful for your help as we work together to kick cancer.
I was ten years younger when I started this journey, and in the past few years, I have lost three siblings and many other friends and family. However, many more kicked cancer and others are still fighting. This year I am riding in honor of your friends and family who have passed and most importantly for our friends and family who are still fighting. Your donations and prayers have made a huge difference in their lives. We can't do this without your help. I am so grateful for your donations, prayers, and support in my quest to help those with cancer. Let me know who you would like me to ride for, and I will put their name on my poster for all to see and pray for.
Kindest regards,
