Dear Friends and Family,
2026 is here — and while so much changes year to year, one heartbreaking reality remains: cancer continues to touch far too many lives, including people I love deeply.
This May, I will once again ride in the Tour de Pier in my beloved Manhattan Beach. Since its inception in 2013, this powerful community event has raised over $15 million for cancer research and support — making a tangible difference in the fight against this disease.
Now entering its 14th year, Tour de Pier brings hundreds of participants together on the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to ride stationary bikes and raise funds for three extraordinary organizations:
• The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research• The Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach• The Uncle Kory Foundation
These organizations provide critical research funding and direct support to individuals and families facing cancer — including people in my own life.
Last year, our team — Team One Love — raised $30,417, ranking #5 out of 86 teams. We rode with 6 bikes and 30 riders, showing up as fighters, survivors, caregivers, and those honoring loved ones lost. It was powerful. It was emotional. It was community at its best.
This year, we’re setting a bigger goal:More bikes = more riders = even greater impact.
And I’m asking for your support once again.
Every dollar truly matters. No amount is too small. Your generosity fuels research breakthroughs, provides counseling and community resources, and offers hope to families navigating unimaginable challenges.
If there is someone special you would like me to ride in honor of, please tell me their name. I would be deeply honored to carry them with me on May 17.
Together, we can ensure no one faces cancer alone.Let’s keep the wheels turning.Let’s keep the hope alive.
Thank you for your continued love and support. I am endlessly grateful for this community.
With gratitude and so much love,Huma ❤Team One Love
