On Sunday May 17th, I will be riding in my tenth Tour de Pier, in memory of my beloved father, Buzz Shobert. The Tour de Pier unites hundreds of volunteers at the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to cycle in place for five hours, with the ultimate goal of raising funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach, and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
