In April of 2025, my world was forever changed when I heard the words no one ever wants to hear - my mother was diagnosed with Cancer. To be specific, it was an aggressive bran tumor called Glioblastoma. Within days, surgery was scheduled and she was given approximately 6 months live. She passed away just 7 weeks later. She had no chemo and no radiation...nothing that ever felt like Cancer, but it most certainly was. My sister has been fundraising and riding at this event since it began. I have always supported her, but not until now did it hit as close to home as it has. I am riding to remember my mother but more importantly to help raise funds and awareness toward this and so many other types of cancer, so that no one has to experience what we did. Come join me!
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
