Like so many of us, cancer has deeply touched my life. Both of my parents have faced their own battles, and I’ve stood alongside close friends through theirs as well. I’m incredibly grateful that my friend Tara Klein came through her fight with breast cancer last year—but heartbreakingly, not everyone has been as fortunate. We’ve lost too many, including my dad and Gareth’s father, Ray.
That’s why I’ve signed up to ride in the Tour de Pier, a truly special fundraising event held right on the beach. It supports three incredible organizations: the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Uncle Kory Foundation, and the Cancer Support Community South Bay. These groups are doing vital work to fund research, support patients, and care for families navigating this disease.
The Tour de Pier is more than just a ride—it’s a day to honor those we’ve lost, celebrate survivors, and come together as a community to keep pushing toward a cure.
I would be so grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference. Even something as simple as 10 friends giving $50 each adds up to meaningful impact in this fight. All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you so much for considering supporting me—and for being part of this effort to bring hope to so many.
With gratitude,
Ally
