This year, I’m riding in the Tour de Pier in memory of my wife Wendie’s grandmother, Thy Thy Huynh, who we lost to pancreatic cancer.
Her loss hit our family hard, and it’s a reminder of how aggressive and unforgiving this disease can be. Pancreatic cancer doesn’t get enough attention, and too often it’s caught too late. That’s why this ride means more to me than just showing up—it’s about being part of the effort to change those outcomes.
I’m also riding in honor of my own grandparents, who I lost to cancer, and for all the families who have experienced this kind of loss. This is for them too.
I’m riding to support organizations that are working toward better treatments, earlier detection, and ultimately a cure for pancreatic cancer. Every dollar raised helps push that work forward and gives hope to families going through what ours did.
If you’re able to donate or even just share this page, it would truly mean a lot. And if you’re around, come out and be part of the day—there’s something powerful about coming together to remember the people we’ve lost while supporting those still fighting.
Thank you for helping honor Thy Thy Huynh and for being part of this cause.
