Hi Friends and Family,
I can’t believe it’s already been a year, and now every annual ride will forever have more meaning to me since Dad passed the day of the last year’s event. I can’t say enough about how spiritual this event becomes every year, and how much growth in attendance we see. While many lives are lost to all these different cancers, there are many who survive because of the support of their charities to fight against Cancer. I’ve supported this event since 2013, and I'm thrilled to continue by riding again this year. I will be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier! The event brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today, as I'll be riding for loved ones lost and loved ones who are currently fighting the fight! A little goes a long way, and I think we can exceed my goal again! You can also join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, and remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
With Love & Hope for a Cure,
Sharon Shiromoto
