Team Butterfly walks in loving memory of Julia Rodas, whose love and spirit continue to inspire our family every day.

Before we said goodbye to Julia on August 15, 2024, butterflies would often appear around our family. Since her passing, we continue to see them, and we like to think they're little signs from her saying hello. That's why the butterfly became our team's symbol.

Shortly after losing Julia, we came across the LA Cancer Challenge on Instagram and knew we wanted to be part of this incredible community. Each year, we walk in her honor, alongside everyone whose lives have been touched by pancreatic cancer. Together, we remember those we've lost, support those still fighting, and help bring hope for a future without this disease.
