Marvin’s Marvels was founded in 2008 by my beloved sister Cheryl Gussman, who passed away on July 5th, 2022. Cheryl created this team in honor of our father, Marvin Gussman, after he lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Her determination and vision led our family into a purpose‑driven mission—one rooted in remembrance, compassion, and action.

Though Cheryl is no longer with us, her legacy continues to guide our efforts. Each year, Marvin’s Marvels shows up to carry forward the hope she championed: Never Give Up — Finding a Cure Is Worth Fighting For.

We'd love for you to join our team (either in-person at UCLA or virtually from wherever you are!) for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease.
