My husband Ben Feigin died of pancreatic cancer on October 24, 2022. Since his death, my daughter Ellie and I have been honoring his memory by raising funds and awareness for the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. We were inspired and found tremendous comfort in the fantastic community this foundation has created and participating in their flagship fundraiser the LA Cancer Challenge 5K. When we moved from Los Angeles to Nashville last year, we continued to work with this organization and participated in the 5K virtually. This year Ellie has taken on a new challenge by planning a charity concert for a cure to help raise even more money and build a community of supporters here in our new hometown of Nashville. This concert combines a passion that Ellie and her dad shared for music and helping others. He would be so proud of the amazing young woman and the fantastic musician Ellie has become.
