It’s hard to believe that this year marks 20 years since we lost my mom, Rose Ratcliff, to pancreatic cancer. Twenty years without her, yet her love, her spirit, and the impact she had on all of us remain as strong as ever.
In her memory, we created Team Ravishing Rose. What began as a way to honor my mom has become something incredibly meaningful to our family—a way to keep her memory alive while helping bring hope to others affected by this devastating disease.
Last year, we were incredibly honored to be named a NEVER GIVE UP AWARDEE in recognition of our years of dedication and fundraising. It was such a meaningful reminder of how far Team Ravishing Rose has come and how much can be accomplished when people come together for a cause that means so much.
This year, as we mark 20 years without my mom, we continue to walk for her. We walk for the memories we hold so close, for the families facing pancreatic cancer today, and for the hope that one day no family will have to experience this kind of loss.
To everyone who has walked with us, donated, supported us, and remembered my mom over the years—thank you. Your love and generosity have meant more to our family than you could ever know.
Twenty years later, we still miss her every day. We still walk for her. And we will never give up.
