- Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths -- after lung and colon cancer. Between 2025 and 2030 it will be ranked second.
Since 2009, our extended family has walked together to honor my stepfather, Howard Kayton (z"l ~ 1936-2011).
Howard was many things to many people... an incredibly generous and loving husband, father, stepfather, friend, colleague, and a staunch supporter of Israel and the Jewish Community.
Your generous gift to the LACC 5K funds multiple seed grants awarded by the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The grant recipients' research improves care by developing treatment protocols, and ultimately a cure.
