It all began in 2013. We were gearing up for the first Tour de Pier. As the oldest sibling and cousin in the family, Ethan was the only one of age to have his own bike team. Uncle Heath asked him, "What do you want your team to be named?" In true Ethan fashion he cam up with "The Flying Bananananas." Thirteen years later those winged bananas are still riding strong!

Ethan and his team (a few have been riding since the beginning with him) ride for cancer research and patient support. Specifically for the Uncle Kory Foundation, named for his father Kory who we lost too early to brain cancer only a day before Ethan rode in the first Tour de Pier.
