I’m honored to be part of the team “Bike With Bob” (in memory of Bob Saunders) for my first Tour de Pier! This event brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the base of the iconic Manhattan Beach Pier to create awareness and raise funds for three cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation (which helps patients and families affected by all forms of cancer, but particularly brain cancer-which my mom had.) We'll remember those we have lost, support those who are currently battling this disease and celebrate those who have been cured.
