This year, the South Bay community will once again come together for the 13th annual Tour de Pier — a day where we unite for one cause: to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and support.

This year, Team Vertra will ride not just to raise awareness, but to stand in support of someone very dear to us — Carla Grant, a core member of the South Bay community who is currently navigating a breast cancer diagnosis.

A light in every circle she touches, Carla reminds us daily that even in the midst of a storm, you can show up with grace and tenacity. Despite the challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis, she continues to rise — to care for her children, love her husband, and walk this strange road with grit and a smile.

So we hope you’ll join us on May 18th.
