I've never ridden a stationary bike before but will be doing so on May 18th, 2025 at the Tour de Pier in Manhattan Beach! This annual event raises funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation. 

Two close family members were recently diagnosed with cancer so these charities mean a lot to me personally. With national funding towards cancer research in a precarious position it is important to do what we can to support charities that are making a difference and that is one of the reasons I chose to ride.
