My 4th year riding, when I committed to leading this effort for Women of AT&T, I never thought I would have such a connection to a great cause and event. While we have all suffered many great losses and seen friends and loved ones struggle with cancer, it gives me the inspiration to do something good. I am pictured with one of our AT&T family members who loss her battle with cancer, Lea Santoro. I treasure the friendship, mentorship and career guidance she gifted me with. I am a better person because of her and appreciate the years of friendship.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join us for a day at the beach, a great ride, and remembering the lives of those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
We'll be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier! The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
