I'll be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier!
I’m reaching out with a deeply personal appeal to support the 13th Annual Tour de Pier—an incredible outdoor stationary cycling event that raises funds for the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
As many of you know, my Dad (Jeff Mathewson) is currently undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer and will have surgery late April. I am so proud of his positive attitude through all of his journey. It’s a journey that has brought into sharp focus the critical need for research, resources, and support for families affected by this devastating disease. The Hirshberg Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 1997, has been a beacon of hope for patients and families like ours, funding cutting-edge research and providing invaluable resources to those in need.
The Tour de Pier is not just a fundraiser—it’s a powerful opportunity for our community to come together, pedal for progress, and contribute to the fight against pancreatic cancer. Every dollar raised goes directly to advancing research and supporting patients, and your generosity will make a real difference in the lives of so many.
I invite you to join me in honoring those affected by pancreatic cancer by participating in or donating to this year’s event. Together, we can ride for hope and fund groundbreaking research that will pave the way for a brighter future.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. This cause means the world to me and my family, and I’m grateful for your generosity in helping us make an impact.
Warm regards,
Carrie
