After beating Breast Cancer in November 2024, I had a very hard time adjusting to my new “normal” life. Life now consisted of taking a daily treatment medication and monthly shot to prevent the chances of my cancer coming back. With the treatment comes the side effects of early menopause, night sweats, mood alterations…. I choose to join a support group through Cancer Support Center South Bay to help me cope with life. I heard stories from women that had gone or are going through the same things I’m going through. The saddest part was most were my age or younger. I’m 43! I am riding for Tour de Pier to raise money for this organization so they can help people just like me get through life , with the proper resources. My body may have been physically beaten down but my mind also is in need of support! I am riding with the Bay Club, which has become my sanctuary and escape. Through physical fitness I have stayed strong through my diagnosis and post both surgeries . I am so thankful for both the Cancer Support Center and the Bay Club to help me raise awareness to Cancer Support!
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
