This year we will be riding again at the Tour de Pier in honor of all of the persons we have lost to pancreatic cancer including my mom Pat, our favorite rocket scientist Armella, my friend's sister (both of whom died way too young), and for all of the family members that were lost by members of our running team.
The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone.
Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
