I've participated in Tour de Pier since the beginning. I ride for Team Kory because I knew Kory and his family.  I picked up the t-shirts I had made the day before the event just a few hours after Kory passed. That year, 2013, the event was cathartic in the shadow of Kory. Right from the start Tour de Pier had a spirit of hope and life. I’ve watched the event grow through the years. I’ve seen more loss from cancer but so much more hope and support. The money raised at Tour de Pier goes directly to help patients, their families, and research.  I’m proud to be part of this event and last year over raised over $1.4 million dollars for Cancer Support Community in Redondo Beach, The Hirschberg Foundation and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
