Like so many families, cancer has touched our lives in profound and painful ways. Our story is not unique, yet it is one we share with so many others. In 2013, the Tour de Pier was founded by friends whose families, like ours, were devastated by cancer. For us, it has become a deeply meaningful way to honor those we've lost and fight for those still in the battle.
On May 18th, we will ride in place on the beautiful Manhattan Beach Pier, pouring all our love, hope, and strength into every pedal stroke. Together, we’ll support ground-breaking research and resources, helping ensure fewer families will face the heartbreak of cancer in the future.
This day is more than just an event—it's a chance to create change, to be part of something bigger than ourselves, and to show the world that love and determination can make a difference.

We hope you'll join us in this fight for a cure, as we ride for those we’ve lost and for those who still need us.
With all our love,
Sam Sheth
