This year, I’m riding in the Tour de Pier.
I ride for my cousin, Janine Lynette Wilcox, who lost her long and courageous battle with melanoma earlier this year; I ride for my in-laws, Dan and Judith Mausser, who were both taken by lung cancer.
The Tour de Pier is no ordinary fundraiser. It brings together hundreds of riders, side by side on stationary bikes with an ocean view, to raise funds and awareness for three incredible cancer organizations:
– Hirschberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research
– Cancer Support Community South Bay
– Uncle Kory Foundation for brain cancer.
If you feel moved to support, I would be so grateful — whether that’s through a donation, sharing my page, or simply cheering us on. Every bit helps. Every mile matters. And every ride is for someone.
Thanks for remembering Janine, Dan, and Judith with me.
