Hi, I’m Monica — a proud member of Team Cool Beans — and I’m participating in this year’s LA Cancer Challenge 5K Fundraiser to support the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research!
While I haven’t personally lost someone to pancreatic cancer, I care deeply about those who have. The Hirshberg Foundation is doing amazing work to fund research, support patients, and raise awareness — and I want to help in any way I can.
When I first got involved, I didn’t know many people — but this incredible community took me in with open arms. The kindness, love, and support I’ve felt from everyone here have meant so much to me, and that’s why I’m fundraising: to give back and to pay it forward.
This year, I’m turning fundraising into something fun, lighthearted, and interactive. For every milestone we reach, I’ll take on a silly or creative challenge and post it online.
