This is the 28th Los Angeles Cancer Challenge and it?s our 28th as well. We have been at this since year one and our team has funded entire seed grants in years past.  But it's not just about Heather and TEN and Walter.

It's about Liz who lost her sister and mom to pancreatic cancer.

It's about Cathy who lost her brother and her aunt.

It's about Annie who lost her sister.

It's about Chris who lost his mom.

It?s about Lourdes who lost her mom.

It's about Mimi and Jamie who lost their mom.

It's about Stephanie who lost her dad.

It's about Shelby who lost her mom and whose dad is battling the disease.

And it's about people like Harris, Esther, Tom M., Tom A., Peter and Jeannette who are living with pancreatic cancer.  We owe it to them to marshal all our resources so they have more options available to them.

Research is the only thing that will change the needle on pancreatic cancer and we parcel the proceeds of this event into seed grants that go directly to pancreatic cancer researchers -- we sow seeds of innovation -- so please join us in memory of those we have lost and in honor of those living with pancreatic cancer.  And most importantly, please donate to the cause.
