In 2022, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Two years later, I’m not just alive—I’m thriving. This year’s LA Cancer Challenge is especially meaningful to me because I’ve been invited to say a few words and fire the starter pistol to kick off the 5k. It’s an honor, and it’s deeply personal.
I’m walking (and celebrating) in memory of my Dad, Jimmy Murphy and those we’ve lost, in solidarity with those still fighting, and in gratitude for the life I’ve been given. The LA Cancer Challenge supports the Hirshberg Foundation’s mission to fund life-saving research, improve patient care, and one day—find a cure.
If you’re able, I would be so grateful if you’d support my fundraising efforts. You can also JOIN MY TEAM in person or virtually—costumes welcome—for a day of community, remembrance, and hope.
Together, we can make a powerful difference!!!
