Tour de Pier 2024: Mary Ruth Newman

Dear Friends and Family,

On May 19th, I'll be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier! The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation.

I ride and fundraise this year with increased focus and great love for my very special stepsister, Karen, who is fighting her own battle with pancreatic cancer.
