I'll be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier! The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation. 

Please consider contributing towards my fundraising efforts today. Or if you'd like, you can join me for a day of fun at the beach, a great ride, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are currently battling this disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!

I would like to add that I have decided to ride in this fundraiser along with my co-workers to raise a bit of money to help find a cure for various types of cancer and in memory of some family and friends that have passed and also who are currently cancer survivors. More than a few of my family members have passed due to this disease.  My aunt Linda Galati, my grandparents Elenor and Marion Kolody, a number of their brothers and sisters, I have had high school friends and neighbors pass.  Yet also there are the survivors my father John has been cancer free for many years now.

This fundraiser may be specific to Pancreatic cancer and brain cancers, but any breakthrough in research could aid advancement in cures for lymphoma, breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, the list could go on and on.
