In December 2021 my Grandpa Dave was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and unfortunately a few months later passed away. My Grandpa Dave was an amazing human who cared and loved his extended family to the fullest. He always knew how to crack a good joke to warm up the room and put smiles on everyones faces. We love you and Miss you Grandpa Dave!

I'll be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier to show my gratitude and to remember the good times spent with him. The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation. As my grandpa had passed from pancreatic cancer I am hoping we can raise funds and awareness to provide support to those in the battle to beat cancer.
