Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately, many people in my life are being impacted by cancer.  In the past few weeks, 2 cherished loved ones succumbed to cancer.  This doesn’t include my loved ones actively fighting the disease.  It seems that such heartbreaking news has become all too common, touching the lives of many around us.

This May, I’m participating in the Tour de Pier for the 11th year. Since its inception in 2013 in my beloved Manhattan Beach, this remarkable event has raised over $12 million for cancer research and support, creating significant impact in the fight against this relentless disease.

2024 marks the 12th annual Tour de Pier, where hundreds of participants will gather at the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand, riding stationary bikes to fundraise for three phenomenal organizations: the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach, and the Uncle Kory Foundation. These charities have directly helped people I know, providing them with crucial support during their cancer battles.

This year, our team, Team One Love, has already raised over $23,000  which brings our overall fundraising to over $100k. Every dollar you contribute makes a difference, no matter the amount. Your generosity is immensely appreciated, and I promise to ride with all my heart, honoring those we’ve lost and cheering on those still fighting.
