Help Me Support Our Fight Cancer at the 12th Annual Tour De Pier
On Sunday, May 19, I will riding in the 12th annual Tour De Pier (this is my 8th year!) at 1130am and 1230pm. The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
I've met some of the most inspiring people through this event. From the organizers to all of the riders, I have nothing but love and appreciation. The organizers all separately lost someone very dear to them to cancer and came together 12 years ago with an incredible fundraising idea -- a larger than life spin class on the Manhattan Beach Pier. They all wanted to do everything they could to honor their loved ones by making other peoples' lives better by helping to find a cure, and also to support those going through cancer diagnosis and treatment. The support they've given for research and treatment has been invaluable. I would love your support for our 12th year. The is no amount too small! It takes a village to go after this devastating disease. Together we can make a huge difference so that no one faces cancer alone. Let's ride in place and move charity forward!
