I'll be riding in place to move charity forward at the Tour de Pier! The Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach and the Uncle Kory Foundation. 

I believe in this charity and the community it brings together for the greater good. I have had the honor of riding for a dear friend Amys  brother Scott who bravely fought and ultimately lost his battle with cancer.  Ironically I found myself with a breast cancer diagnosis last year and thankfully with an early diagnosis and an abundance of love and support from my family and friends I am cancer free. I feel the need to give back and represent my brothers and sisters who have traveled the same road and are not here to fight along side me for a cure.
