Tour de Pier 2024: Kelly Miyahara

This is my 10th year with Tour de Pier and TEAM ONE LOVE! It would be my honor if you join our team to ride or support the cause by making a donation! As you know, I have been fundraising for cancer causes since 2010, but in recent years, it's become even more personal as my sister, Mom and are all now breast cancer survivors. We are ever thankful to be over the hump and healthy, and want to continue to fight for everyone facing the terrible disease!

As strange as it may sound, cancer has brought me some beautiful gifts. Specifically, some new friends that I connected with because of cancer. One of those friends, I met in person for the first time when she joined Team One Love at Tour de Pier, and this year she will be honored as a Hero Rider at the event! I dedicate my 2024 ride to Michaela Hernandez, and our mutual friend, cancer warrior, and forever angel, Kelly Kawashima.

Tour de Pier brings hundreds of stationary cycling bikes to the iconic Manhattan Beach Strand to create awareness and raise funds for three outstanding cancer charities: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach and the Uncle Kory Foundation.
