Once again, I'll be participating in one of SoCal’s largest fundraising events benefiting pancreatic cancer research, the LA Cancer Challenge Walk/Run! For months in advance, we raise awareness, rally our communities and fundraise for a cure. January marks my sister Amy's 10 year anniversary working at the Hirshberg Foundation. What began as a part-time job turned into a full-time position as Director of Patient Programs. She has the privilege of helping patients and families navigate this disease with more hope, as promising areas of progress are on the horizon.
