In Memory of William Glenn Buck 8/11/2015
William Glenn Buck, age 33, of Fredericktown, OH, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his residence with his loving family by his side, after a year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on September 8, 1981 in Mount Vernon, OH, to Stephen C. and Catherine Ann (Smith) Buck.
Starting at the age of 16, Glenn worked as a landscape and manual labor for TruGreen and Turf Doctor. Glenn was recognized as one of the hardest-working members of any staff he joined. He received the “Iron Man” in 2009 at Turf Doctor, for his work ethic and dedication. A stand-out football player, Glenn was known by his friends as one of the most athletic of the group, as well as the most fun-loving and caring. He was a proud alumnus of Fredericktown High School.
When not spending time with his family, one of his favorite hobbies was fishing. A master angler, Glenn loved catching walleye and perch at Lake Erie with his cousin Anthony Hunter.
Glenn will forever be remembered as an exceptional athlete. A fun-loving guy that everyone loved to be around… no matter the person. You will forever struggle to find someone more likeable than Glenn Buck. Of all his hobbies and talents… Glenn was born to be a daddy. His family and friends will forever remember how natural he was at being with his son Oliver.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Carrie (Huddlestun) Buck; a son, William Oliver “Ollie” Buck; his mother, Ann Buck; father, Stephen Buck; a brother, Lucas Buck.
Glenn is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sherman and Jane Ann Smith; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Manzie Buck.
