I'm participating in the LA Cancer Challenge 5K/10K Run/Walk to support the Hirshberg Foundation in their mission to fund vital research and programs that improve patient care, offer better treatment options, and ultimately, find a cure for pancreatic cancer. This cause is deeply personal to me, as my mother, Maria E. Sanchez, bravely battled pancreatic cancer for over 10 years.
