Foster the CURE's 5th Annual Golf Classic

Jim Foster. Need we say more? Okay, we would love to. He was truly one of a kind. Generous, caring, compassionate, kind, fair, genuine, friendly, and it can go on and on. Sadly, he became a pancreatic cancer statistic after passing away 4 months after his diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the third-ranked cause of cancer related death in the US amongst both men and women. We (his family) formed Foster the CURE to help fight the battle against pancreatic cancer. We are a 501(c)(3) that partners with the Hirshberg Foundation and raises funds to try to do whatever we can. It's the least we can do. We hold a golf tournament each year in which we have a catered lunch, door prizes, pin prizes, and raffle items. Although our tournament is on the smaller side, we have a lot of friends and family that support us and are fortunate to have met some great friends along the way.

This year is our 5th Annual Golf Classic and is being held on August 26, 2017 at Sun Valley Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa.

Cancer has touched us all in some way; research for pancreatic cancer could hold the key to finding a cure for all cancers. Please support our fundraising efforts by making a donation today.
