Canter for the Cure

Welcome to the donation page for  Canter for the Cure!

On October 17th 2015, our non-profit hosted the fourth annual Canter for the Cure in memory of Arlene Bates Toyne. Arlene lost her battle to pancreatic cancer in September 2011. As mother, grandmother, wife, sister, businesswoman and community volunteer, Arlene devoted her life to making the world a better place for those who knew and loved her.

This equestrian fun day at Hunter's Run Stables in Temperance, Michigan included trail rides through the fifty plus acres of woods and ponds and jumping events in both natural field and ring. Activities were also offered for non-riders, including a kids corner, pony rides and hay rides.

Canter for the Cure has raised money in support of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Pancreatic Cancer is the fourth-ranked cause of cancer related death in the US amongst both men and women.

Cancer has touched us all in some way; research for pancreatic cancer could hold the key to finding a cure for all cancers. Please make a donation supporting the Canter for the Cure and help us reach our fundraising goal.

Thank you for joining us in the fight against pancreatic cancer!
