Honor Our Mom, Kim at the LA Cancer Challenge!
We are so excited to participate in the L.A. Cancer Challenge in honor of our mother, Kimberly "Kim" Walker, and grandmother, Beatrice "Bea Bea" Moore.
Our beloved Ladybug, Kim, transitioned from this world into God's loving arms on April 15, 2024. She was a magnet for people drawn to her kindness, warm spirit, and bold personality. Her flair for life and style was exquisite, and for 69 blessed years, she lived each moment to the fullest. As God would have it, in 2004 (20 years prior), Bea Bea also lost her fight with pancreatic cancer.
We celebrate them both.
The LACC, in partnership with the Hirshberg Foundation, is instrumental in raising funds for crucial research and patient care programs. These efforts are designed to enhance treatment options and, ultimately, find a cure for pancreatic cancer. Your support, no matter where you are, can make a significant difference in this fight.
We'd love for you to join our team (either in person at UCLA or virtually from wherever you are!) for a day of costumes and fun, remembering those we have lost and celebrating those currently battling this disease. Please consider contributing to our fundraising efforts if you'd like to support us. No amount is too small!
Together, we can make a difference.
